FEINT was the first feat of ocw, a new rotterdam stage for small scale events. _the programme of well over an hour was presented on friday evening 20, saturday evening 21 and sunday evening november 22, 2009, featuring contributions by jozef van rossum, maarten van gent, harriët van reek & geerten ten bosch (banketje design) and cora schmeiser. _arnold schalks was responsible for the technique and made a catering-attempt. _all evenings were fully booked long before the premiere
friday evening visitors deserved a welcome bonus: a splinter group of the vocal ensemble adh'octet sung to the audience from behind the banisters of the stairs leading up to the ocw space. _the ensemble interpreted two madrigals of the italian composer cristofano malvezzi (1547-1599): ‘noi che cantando’ & ‘dal vago e bel sereno’. _the voices belonged to: caroline pijpker & josta stoopman van rigteren (soprano), ellen bulder (alto), arnold schalks & carlo sihasale (tenors), dick van soest & frank stoopman (basses)
